We had two excellent guides from Hover Tours who helped us tremendously on our stay in Margarita. José & Ricardo. They had the best banter and knew a lot about the island and had the best recommendations for things to do!

I am 150% satisfied with the Hover Tours’ services – finally a company that really goes the extra mile for a foreign tourist. Hover Tours was the local partner of Polish travel agency (Rainbow Tours) on my first trip to Venezuela (January 2024). During a 10-day round-trip in the Venezuelan llanos we were accompanied by Mr. Aaron Alejos of Hover Tours. Mr. Alejos’ leadership prowess and people skills can be summed up by only one word: EXCELLENCE. Not only was he in charge of all the administrative stuff (meals, hotels, etc.) but also turned out to be a resourceful troubleshooter and an expert on Venezuelan history and culture. Thanks to his efforts and effective communication each of us created lots of beautiful memories in Venezuela. The professional brilliance and top-notch work ethic of Mr. Aaron Alejos would be a rare gem in any country in the world, I wish we had tour operators like him in Poland. All things considered, Hover Tours’ knack of hiring and keeping the top talent is highly commendable. As long as people like Mr. Aaron Alejos are there for us in Venezuela, in search for a holiday destination I’ll look no further. His stellar performance once again proves that all that is gold does not glitter.

We used Hover through Rainbow (Poland). Our tour was to Los Roques however it was cancelled last minute due to the lack of customers. Cant recommend either of the agencies above. They are unreliable, you book a tour but they can cancel any time. If you book tours to any place, los roques, angel falls or any other by plane/boat and they dont have enough customers or too much for one plane but too few for two planes you will see your trip cancelled and refunded. Depending on how long you stay you might not be able to reschedule (our excursion was 3 days before the end of holiday and they couldn’t reschedule it). Basically I can only recommend to look for trips with other agencies. We used another company in Caracas for a 4 days trip to Angel falls, significantly better than what Hover/Rainbow offer without having to participate in the will the excursion go or not lottery!!! If i would have known that these excursions aren’t confirmed I wouldn’t even have booked it, Avoid…
